# Pure linen, blends,
and a growing range
*of natural-fibre fabrics.*

Govardhan Overseas weaves linen and natural-fibre fabrics across the construction range — from fine apparel shirting to wide-width home textile drapery. Pure linen and linen-blend categories are our flagship product, but our looms also produce hemp, cotton, viscose, lyocell, micro modal, polyester, and silk constructions where the customer's end use calls for them.

## Standard product categories

The product names below are the categories we list on industry directories like IndiaMart and in our wholesale catalogues. They cover the bulk of our production:

- **Pure linen fabric** — 100% linen in standard and wide widths
- **Cotton-linen fabric** — 55/45 and 70/30 blends, our largest category
- **Linen-silk fabric** — including linen-silk jacquards for premium home textiles
- **Brocade fabric** — figured constructions on jacquard looms
- **Hemp and hemp-blend fabric** — a growing category
- **Linen-viscose, linen-lyocell, linen-modal** — soft-handed cellulosic blends
- **Recycled-content fabric** — under our GRS scope, for buyers needing recycled-content claims

## Minimums and lead times

- **Standard articles:** `500 metres` per colour per run
- **Custom developments:** typically `1,000+ metres` per programme
- **Low-volume sampling:** `150 metres` per colour at a premium

- **Greige / stock-shade articles:** ~`60 days` from order confirmation
- **Yarn-dyed / custom developments:** `65–70 days`
- **Custom programmes with fresh yarn dyeing:** plan on a `10–12 week` horizon

## How orders work

- **Initial enquiry.** Use the [RFQ form](https://govardhan.net/contact), email `[sales@govardhan.org](mailto:sales@govardhan.org)`, or call our head office.
- **Sample request.** Physical swatches and a construction sheet. Sample turnaround is typically a week.
- **Quote.** Pricing per-metre for fabric, per-kilogram for yarn, FOB India or CIF to destination port. Payment terms agreed upfront.
- **Production programme.** Confirmed orders are scheduled into our production planning calendar.
- **Quality and dispatch.** Every piece is inspected on our in-house inspection line. E-invoice and e-way bill accompany every shipment.
- **Certification handover.** For GOTS / OCS / GRS orders, scope certificate copies and Transaction Certificates (TCs) are issued alongside the invoice.

## Certification on orders

Every product we sell can be supplied under our certified scope — GOTS, OCS, GRS, OEKO-TEX, or a combination — depending on the fibre, the process, and your specification. A certified-scope order costs slightly more because of the chain-of-custody documentation and the restricted input sourcing, but the premium is modest relative to the retail markup our customers can charge for certified goods.

If you don't need certification, we also supply standard (non-scope) fabric at the same quality level minus the paperwork.
